At TRT Istanbul Radio where he was appointed, he prepared a two-hour program called "Gunun Icinden" (Out of the Day) that had been broadcasted daily all over Turkey for 950 episodes from 1981 till 1987.

It was an important radio program that included news, news cinema and current affairs.

Having undertaken the production of program called "Edirne'nin Kurtulusu" (The Liberation of Edirne) in 1986, Basusta had served as the producer of "Dinleyici Istekleri" (Audience's Requests) reaching total number of 54 episodes between 1986-1987.

During the programs, Huseyin Basusta had produced aggregate amount of 4990 hours of live episodes at which about 8500 guests were hosted.
